House party that doesn't want to stop

Our weekly residential property survey shows that median prices have stabilised in Melbourne but are surging higher in Sydney. Buyers seem more worried about missing the boom in property values than the effect of higher mortgage rates.

Median house prices in Sydney surged 3.2% in June to just under $400,000 - a rise of 22.1% over the past year.
