No information available for that date?
Make sure the day you pick is a trading day, otherwise you will get
an error message.
Search didn't produce any results?
You can often improve your search results by
- avoiding plurals, e.g. search for Leighton
(LEI) not Leightons,
- searching by share code rather than company name,
- not using punctuation, e.g. try NAB not N.A.B.
- not using symbols such as plus (+), minus (-) or quotation marks
("),
- not using Boolean operators such as AND, NOT, OR or parentheses.
Search produced too many results?
Try refining your search by
- using the 'Match complete phrase' search option,
- selecting the 'Match ASX code' option for listed company data,
- not using general words such as 'the' or 'and'.
How are the results sorted?
Search results are classified by date with the most recent matches
listed first. Click on the date to see the day's trading data.
When is the database updated?
The database is usually updated at the beginning of each week.
Is there a way to download material from the database?
For security and business reasons, there is no download facility available
at present. But users can obtain long-term data series in a monthly
or yearly format from our Downloads
section.
Server Error or Server Busy Error?
The database may be offline for updating, or busy due to a large number
of users. Please try your request again later.
Why can't I see beyond 400 results?
To encourage more effective searches and allocate computing resources
efficiently, the absolute number of results per search is restricted
to 400.
